DC Web Women Seeks New Marketing Energy to Further Promote Its Mission: Continued Advancement of Women in Professional, Web-Related Fields

[ March 30, 2007 ] Sterling, Virginia — Well-known new media group and virtual community DC Web Women
(DCWW) selects Loudoun-based marketing strategist Mayra Ruiz-McPherson,
formerly known in Loudoun County, Virginia as Executive Director of the
Loudoun Literacy Council,
to lead the organization’s marketing programs and publicity efforts
throughout the Washington metro area. The group seeks to revitalize its
marketing efforts to attract new corporate sponsorships as well as to
further its mission, which is to encourage women in traditionally
