Marketing Strategist Becomes New Media Instructor for Jefferson County Adult Education

[ November 6, 2007 ] Charles Town, West Virginia — Mayra Ruiz-McPherson, marketing consultant and publicity expert, joins the Jefferson County roster of adult education teachers starting January 2008 and will serve as the county’s lead web publishing and internet marketing instructor offering web design and web marketing courses to working adults.

“Mayra’s extensive professional and marketing background make her an asset to our adult education programs,” states Beth Lewis, Jefferson County’s Adult Education program director. “Our previous web instructor moved on, leaving a gap of knowledge we weren’t able to fill until Mayra’s arrival. Mayra will now fill the new media void that we’ve faced and we are nothing short of delighted to have her on board.”

Jefferson County Schools has sponsored an Adult and Community Education
program for over 20 years. The program has grown to over 125 classes
per session. A great variety of choices is offered for lifelong
learning for all members of the community. The program also provides
members of our community who do not have children enrolled in the
school system, a chance to utilize school facilities.
