Reconnecting with colleagues and peers is always a plus

Mayra Ruiz-McPherson to present at Click4Help.com's December 6 workshop in Arlington, VirginiaWell, exactly a month and a day as of tomorrow, I will be reunited with a handful of associates and peers who either assisted me with and/or attended my November 5 Social Media Primer seminar. I join ClickforHelp.com’s CIO Ken Fischer, Network Solution’s Andrew Bates and Social Media Strategist Jill Foster at ClickforHelp’s December 6 social media 2.0 workshop in Arlington, Virginia @ the Arlington Hilton on 950 North Stafford Street.

Specifically, the workshop being presented tomorrow is:

A Mostly Plain English Workshop: What Businesses, Government and Nonprofits Should Understand about Web 2.0
A guide to successful innovation through an audience centered lens

Ken has tasked me with presenting a simple yet very important topic of particular importance to Web 1.0 folks: Web 2.0…What it is?

I am particularly interested in hearing real estate blogger Tony Arko present his topic and am definitely looking forward to meeting new folks, making new friends and establishing professional connections.

I will be blogging about the information shared and sharing photos (and possibly video) after the workshop is over; aiming to have it all available by early next week.

More to come!
