Polaris Marketing Research Inc. and its data collection partner SSI report some interesting findings from their latest study of American consumer behavior online as it relates to Google+.
The joint study finds that 18% of respondents report using Google+. Additionally, among respondents not using Google+, 51% say they are “very or somewhat familiar” with Google+. Only 16% of online consumers say they have never heard of Google+.
No matter how many folks plan to flock or have already flocked to Google+, there are many that remain cautious or who choose to postpone their Google+ participation. Of special note are current Facebook users: 13% are also using Google+.
And among Facebook users who are not currently using Google+? 57% say they “definitely” or “probably” will use Google+ in the next six months.
